OpenArt pricing (October 2026): plans, what a clip really costs, and how Everygen compares

Billed annually, Everygen costs less than OpenArt for up to 38 Seedance 2 clips a month, and again from 61 to 76. We paid for OpenArt Starter, ran the same prompts on both sites and read what each charged: 400 credits a Seedance 2 clip on OpenArt, 13 on Everygen. OpenArt Starter is $13 a month but has no commercial use; that starts at Plus ($27). On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1). OpenArt comes out ahead on monthly billing, on images and Kling clips, and on characters.

Every competitor price links to that company's own page, with the day we read it.

Everygen vs OpenArt in short

What you pay depends on how many clips you make and how you pay, so start there.

  • Billed annually, Everygen costs less for up to 38 Seedance clips a month, and again from 61 to 76. 1 to 10 clips: $9 against $13. 11 to 15 clips: $9 against $27. 16 to 30 clips: $19 against $27. 31 to 38 clips: $19 against $42.
  • Billed monthly, OpenArt is usually the lower bill. Everygen wins 11 to 15 clips and ties 31 to 38; OpenArt wins the rest, starting with Starter at $14 for up to 10 clips.
  • OpenArt Starter has no commercial use. It starts at Plus, $27 a month billed annually or $34 monthly. On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1). Against Plus, Everygen is the lower bill up to 38 clips on annual billing and up to 15 on monthly.
  • Seedance 2.5 is 650 credits on OpenArt and 20 on Everygen. Billed annually, Everygen is the lower bill for up to 25 Seedance 2.5 clips a month.
  • OpenArt is cheaper for images and Kling. Nano Banana Pro and Kling 3.0 cost less per item from Plus up, and OpenArt has a character builder, Director for multi-scene films and more models.

What you pay on Everygen and OpenArt for the clips you need

The cheapest plan on each site whose month of credits covers your clips. Seedance 2, 5 seconds, 720p.

Each clip is 13 credits on Everygen and 400 on OpenArt. So Everygen Starter covers 15 clips a month, Pro 38 and Creator 76. OpenArt Starter covers 10, Plus 30, Pro 60 and Wonder 265. From Plus up, OpenArt sells 5,000 extra credits for $15 a month, so the table counts a plan plus add-ons where that is cheaper.

OpenArt prices from openart.ai/pricing, checked October 30, 2026, per seat. We count the add-on at its listed $15 a month on both billings. Everygen prices from everygen.ai/pricing. Past 76 clips, OpenArt Wonder (265 clips) is the bigger plan; on Everygen you would add top-up credits to Creator.

Then budget for retries. Few prompts land on the first take, so if one take in three is a keeper, triple the clips you need before you read the table. Pro and Creator annual plans add a first-month bonus equal to a month's credits.

Price per clip, once you're on a plan

What one Seedance clip works out to if you spend every credit. Useful for comparing credits, but it is not your bill: a plan you don't fill costs the same.

The clip: Seedance 2 (OpenArt calls it Seedance 2.0), 5 seconds, 720p, sound on. OpenArt's Generate button showed 400 credits for it, 800 at 10 seconds, and its credits history charged 400 for each of our three. Everygen charges 13. Divide each plan's price by its credits, multiply by the clip, and you get this:

OpenArt prices from openart.ai/pricing, checked October 30, 2026. Everygen prices from everygen.ai/pricing. Dollar figures use each plan's annual price. Clip counts are whole clips from one month's credits.

Every Everygen plan works out cheaper per clip than OpenArt Starter at $1.30 and Plus at $0.90: Everygen Starter is $0.59 and Pro $0.49. A low price per clip only pays off if you fill the plan, so your bill is still the clips tables above. OpenArt's plan cards say “Up to ~50 videos” on Starter; at 400 credits, Seedance 2 fits 10.

One more wrinkle: Everygen Creator costs more per credit than Pro ($0.049 against $0.038). Pick Creator for the bigger balance, not a lower unit price.

Same prompt, both sites

We typed the same 3 prompts into OpenArt on October 30, 2026: Seedance 2.0, 5 seconds, 720p, 16:9, sound on, nothing else changed. OpenArt charged 400 credits a clip, in its credits history and on the button, and runs it from Starter at $13 a month billed annually. The Everygen clips are from our October 23, 2026 run of the same prompts at the same settings, at 13 credits each, on every plan, from Starter at $9 a month billed annually. Here is the first pair, untouched. Press play with the sound up and judge for yourself.

OpenArt credits as shown on its Generate button on October 30, 2026, in a Starter account; the two Seedance prices are also in its credits history. Everygen credits from the cost table its generator charges from. Dollars use each plan's annual price per credit ($2.25 per 1,000 OpenArt credits, $0.038 per Everygen credit) and assume you spend every credit. Plus is OpenArt's cheapest plan with commercial use.

Plainly: OpenArt is cheaper for Nano Banana Pro images and for Kling 3.0 clips once you are on Plus. Everygen is cheaper for both Seedance models, by more on Seedance 2.5. A plan you don't fill costs the same either way, so the smaller bill wins, as in the clips tables above.

Everygen: the model menu and the generator's model list. OpenArt: its video model picker in a Starter account and its site navigation, read October 30, 2026. Credits as in the tables above.

OpenArt's catalog is bigger: more than 30 video models in Starter's picker, including Wan, LTX, PixVerse, HappyHorse and FLUX 3 Video, and none of them locked to a higher plan. It also has a character builder and Director, which plans multi-scene films. If one of those is what you want, that settles it.

Everygen covers the big names most people pick, Seedance, Kling, Gemini Omni, Nano Banana and GPT Image, and puts its own tools on the same credits: Shorts Studio, Director, the AI Ad Generator, captions, voiceover and Wizard, an agent that plans a whole video and shows its plan and credit ceiling before it spends anything. Browse them all on Everygen's models page.

Source: openart.ai/pricing and OpenArt's Terms (4.1), checked October 30, 2026. Seedance 2 clips at 400 credits each, 5 seconds, 720p.

Every plan lists Director, the OpenArt MCP and “100+ premium image, video, and audio models”, and our Starter account's model picker had no model locked to a higher plan. Plus and up add “Add credits as needed” ($15 a month for 5,000 credits), commercial use and 10% off generations through the MCP.

Starter's card lists 8 parallel generations. On our Starter account a third generation at once opened an upgrade prompt instead: “You have reached the limit of Parallel Generations, upgrade to generate more in parallel.” Two ran at a time. The day we checked, the page also ran a Kling 4.0 discount on Pro and Wonder until November 20, so prices may move again soon.

Is OpenArt free?

Not really. OpenArt's FAQ says: “When you sign up, you receive 40 trial credits to try any premium features and advanced models within 7-day trial period.” Here is what those 40 credits buy at the prices its generator showed us:

  • No Seedance 2 clip (400 credits) and no Seedance 2.5 clip (650).
  • No Kling 3.0 clip (175).
  • One Nano Banana Pro image (40).
  • Output that may carry an OpenArt watermark you may not remove, that you can't use commercially, and that is deleted after 7 days unless you publish it.
“...may include a visible OpenArt watermark. You may not remove, crop, obscure, hide, or alter the watermark... Private creations are stored for 7 days, then automatically deleted if not published.”
OpenArt Terms of Service, 4.5 and 5.5, openart.ai/suite/terms

On Everygen, the cheapest way in is Starter at $9 a month billed annually ($24 monthly) for 200 credits: 15 Seedance 2 clips, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1). If free is the whole point, the OpenArt alternatives page lists the tools with a real free allowance.

Who can use OpenArt output commercially

The plan matters: OpenArt's Terms draw the line at Plus.

“For all subscription levels, you may freely use Output you generate for non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. For subscription levels at, and above, the “Plus” level (as described on our pricing page), you may also freely use Output you generate for commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.”
OpenArt Terms of Service, 4.1, openart.ai/suite/terms, last updated July 30, 2026

The pricing cards agree: “Commercial use rights” is listed on Plus, Pro and Wonder, not on Starter. So for ads, client work or a monetised channel, OpenArt's real entry price is Plus at $27 a month billed annually or $34 monthly, not $13.

OpenArt's help center says something looser, which is why answers online disagree: asked whether you can use what you made commercially, it says “Yes. You may use, modify, and distribute them commercially or non-commercially, with proper attribution to OpenArt and/or the human artist when applicable.” The Terms are the contract.

On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1), Starter included. That puts Everygen Starter at $9 against OpenArt Plus at $27 a month for up to 15 Seedance clips, billed annually.

OpenArt: pricing page, help center, FAQ and Terms. Everygen: the pricing page FAQ. Checked October 30, 2026.

Two lines in OpenArt's Terms (3.2) are worth knowing before you commit: “Credits necessary to generate Output on OpenArt may change during the duration of a subscription”, and its FAQ adds “After your plan expires, you will lose access to the paid credits.” So the credit price of a clip can move mid-plan, and paid credits go with the plan.

Why OpenArt prices look different everywhere

Search for OpenArt's price and you'll find several answers. Most are from older plans or other pages on OpenArt's own site:

  • The pricing page (the table above): Starter $14, Plus $34, Pro $56 and Wonder $240 monthly, per seat.
  • The help center still names the older plans, Essential, Advanced and Infinite, and many guides quote their prices.
  • “Videos” on the plan cards count cheaper models. Starter's “up to ~50 videos” is 10 clips of Seedance 2.
  • Commercial use reads differently in the Terms (Plus and up) and the help center (yes, with attribution).
  • Promotions rotate: a Kling 4.0 discount until November 20 was live the day we checked.

The price at checkout is the one that counts. That's why every number here carries a date and a link.

Which plan should you pick?

Count the clips you make in a month, decide whether you need commercial use, then pick the plan that covers both.

  • Everygen Starter or Pro, billed annually, for up to 38 Seedance clips a month: $19 for 38 clips on Pro, with Wizard, Shorts Studio, captions and voiceover on the same balance.
  • Everygen, if you need the rights to what you make and make up to 15 clips a month on monthly billing: Starter at $24 against OpenArt Plus at $34.
  • Everygen, for Seedance 2.5: 20 credits a clip against 650.
  • OpenArt Starter, billed monthly, if you make up to 10 Seedance clips for yourself: $14, without commercial use.
  • OpenArt Plus or Pro, for 39 to 60 clips a month billed annually, for most volumes billed monthly, and if you make a lot of Nano Banana Pro images or Kling clips.

On October 30, 2026 we read openart.ai/pricing logged out with both the monthly and annual toggles, plus OpenArt's Terms, FAQ and help center. Everygen's numbers come from its own pricing page and the cost table the generator charges from.

Then we paid for OpenArt Starter, read each model's price off the Generate button, and ran the three test prompts with Seedance 2.0 at 5 seconds, 720p, 16:9 and sound on. OpenArt's credits history shows 400 credits for each clip. Everygen's clips are from our run of the same prompts at the same settings on our own Everygen account. We don't score quality: the clips are above.

Everygen Starter is $9 a month billed annually, runs every Seedance model up to 720p, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1). The generator shows the price before you press go.

OpenArt pricing questions

It depends on how you pay. Billed annually, Everygen costs less than OpenArt for up to 38 Seedance 2 clips a month, and again from 61 to 76. OpenArt is the lower bill from 39 to 60 clips on annual billing, and at most volumes on monthly billing. A 5-second 720p Seedance 2 clip costs 400 OpenArt credits and 13 Everygen credits. OpenArt Starter has no commercial use, which starts at Plus ($27 a month billed annually, $34 monthly).
On openart.ai/pricing (checked October 30, 2026), per seat: Starter $14 monthly or $13 a month billed annually for 4,000 credits, Plus $34 or $27 for 12,000, Pro $56 or $44 for 24,000, and Wonder $240 or $175 for 106,000.
There is a trial, not a free plan: 40 credits for 7 days. A Seedance 2 clip costs 400 credits, so the trial can't make one. Free output may carry an OpenArt watermark you may not remove, and it can't be used commercially.
400 credits for Seedance 2.0 at 5 seconds and 720p (800 at 10 seconds), and 650 for Seedance 2.5 at 5 seconds and 720p. We read both on OpenArt's Generate button and in its credits history. On Everygen the same clips cost 13 and 20 credits.
10 Seedance 2.0 clips at 5 seconds and 720p, from 4,000 credits. The plan card's "up to ~50 videos" counts cheaper models.
From Plus up. OpenArt's Terms (4.1) allow commercial use only "for subscription levels at, and above, the 'Plus' level", and the Starter card doesn't list commercial use. On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1).
Plan credits don't: they reset each month, Everygen's too. OpenArt's add-on credits roll over while you stay subscribed, and after your plan ends you lose access to paid credits.
No. Its help center says extra credits are only an add-on to an active subscription, and the add-on ($15 a month for 5,000 credits) starts at Plus.
Paid plans are watermark-free, per the pricing cards. OpenArt's Terms say free-plan output may include a visible watermark that you may not remove.
Most guides quote OpenArt's older plan names and prices (Essential, Advanced and Infinite), which its help center still uses. Promotions also come and go. The price on openart.ai/pricing is the one that counts.
It has an MCP and CLI on every plan. Its help center says no public API is available. Everygen also has an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.
Everygen: Seedance 2 is 13 credits a clip against 400, Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p, Pro up to 1080p and Creator up to 4K, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1). Our OpenArt alternatives page compares it with Higgsfield, PixVerse, Kling, InVideo, Krea, Runway and Arcads.
