Higgsfield alternatives in 2026: Everygen and 7 others, compared on real prices

Everygen12 min read

Make up to 38 Seedance clips a month and Everygen costs less than Higgsfield however you pay. Billed annually it also wins from 54 to 76 clips. That, plus Seedance on every plan and the same models inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, makes Everygen the closest alternative. If you want something different, the list below says who is good at what. And if you live in Higgsfield's 7-day “unlimited” windows or its own apps, you may be better off staying put.

Every competitor price links to that company's own page, checked October 23, 2026.

What Higgsfield costs, and what Everygen costs for the clips you need

Checked on higgsfield.ai/pricing on October 23, 2026, logged out, before VAT.

Higgsfield sells Starter at $19 on either billing (270 credits, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini only), Plus at $59 monthly or $47 a month annually (1,200 credits) and Ultra at $129 or $99 (3,000 credits, with bigger sizes above). There is a free tier with no credits. Everygen sells Starter at $9 annually or $24 monthly, Pro at $19 or $49 and Creator at $49 or $139, with every Seedance model on all three.

A 5-second 720p Seedance 2 clip costs 22.5 credits on Higgsfield and 13 on Everygen, so what you pay comes down to how many clips you make. Up to 15 a month, it is $24 on Everygen against $59 on Higgsfield, billed monthly ($9 against $47 annually). Up to 38, $49 against $59 monthly. From 39 clips on monthly billing Higgsfield is the lower bill, and on annual billing it is $2 cheaper between 39 and 53.

Higgsfield Plus gets you about 53 of those clips a month, Everygen Pro 38, Everygen Creator 76. Once you fill a plan, Higgsfield Plus works out to $0.88 a clip and Everygen Pro to $0.49. The full clips-you-need tables are on our Higgsfield pricing page.

Why people look for a Higgsfield alternative

In Higgsfield's own words, from its pricing and help pages, and in its users' words, from Trustpilot.

Higgsfield has a 4.0 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 5,142 reviews (checked October 23, 2026). Most are happy. About 1 in 5 give it one star, and the long, specific complaints come back to the same few things.

Credits go faster than you expect

Search for a Higgsfield alternative and one of the first results is a Reddit thread called “Higgsfield AI eats up credit so fast”. The reviews say the same thing.

“Higgsfield generates so much stuff thats completely off script and mispronounces words all the time. Kills your credits...”
u/visionary4747 on r/AI_Agents
“Qualities seems to be pretty good, and workflow is OK but you rip through credits like no other!”
Steven, 1-star review on Trustpilot, October 24, 2026. Read the review
“...even with the plan that costs 70€ per month you can only generate 4-5 short videos...”
Tony, 1-star review on Trustpilot, October 15, 2026. Read the review

That lines up with the math: a 5-second 720p Seedance 2 clip is 22.5 credits on Higgsfield and 13 on Everygen. See what each plan really covers.

Credits reset every month

“On individual plans, no: subscription credits reset each billing cycle.” Most credit products work this way, Everygen included. It just means a quiet month is a lost month.

“Unlimited” is a short trial on a couple of models, on the website only

  • It covers specific models only. The only video model is Kling 3.0, at 720p and 5 seconds. The rest are image models such as Nano Banana. Seedance and everything else still cost credits.
  • Each “unlimited” model runs for a 7-day window from when you activate it, and the window doesn't restart at renewal.
  • Billed monthly, Plus gets one “unlimited” model and Ultra two. The annual cards list a few more.
  • It works on the website only: “not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer”.
  • It runs in the standard queue, while credit jobs get priority, and it “may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments”.
  • It stops the moment your subscription ends, even mid-window.
  • 30-day “unlimited” Seedance 2.5 is for business plans only.
“Unlimited models and Free Generations on plans are accessible only via higgsfield.ai and are not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer. Unlimited usage may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments during high-traffic periods.”
Higgsfield's pricing page, higgsfield.ai/pricing
“I paid $ 420 for 3 days unlimited seedance 2.5 and it takes HOURS to generate. Might as well just pay for credits...”
Carlisle Tabanera, 2-star review on Trustpilot, October 23, 2026. Read the review

Everygen has no “unlimited” tier, so there is no fine print: every job uses credits and shows its price before you start.

The cheapest plan leaves out Seedance 2.0 and 2.5

Higgsfield Starter is $19 and lists “Access to Seedance 2.0 Fast & 2.0 Mini”. Standard Seedance 2.0 starts at Plus. Everygen Starter is $9 a month billed annually and runs every Seedance model.

The pricing is hard to pin down

“The examples looked good, but the pricing and credit rules got less clear the more I looked.”
Julian Moretti, 1-star review on Trustpilot, October 23, 2026. Read the review

Part of that is real: the website, the MCP connector and older guides show different prices. We untangled it on the Higgsfield pricing page.

Using it from Claude or ChatGPT always costs credits

Higgsfield has an MCP, but “unlimited” doesn't apply there. If you mostly create from an AI assistant, the “unlimited” part of the plan doesn't reach you.

The same three prompts on both

We typed the same 3 prompts into both sites on October 23, 2026: Seedance 2, 5 seconds, 720p, 16:9, sound on, nothing else changed. Higgsfield charged 22.5 credits a clip (its transaction log says so; the button rounds it to 23). Everygen charged 13. Here is every pair, untouched. Press play with the sound up and judge for yourself.

Choose Everygen if

  • You make up to 38 Seedance clips a month, or 54 to 76 on annual billing.
  • You use Kling at 1080p: fewer credits per clip.
  • You want real Seedance 2 on the smallest budget: $9 a month, where Higgsfield Starter has only Fast and Mini.
  • You create from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
  • You'd rather not read fine print about windows, queues and surfaces.
  • You also want Wizard, Shorts Studio, the AI Ad Generator, captions and voiceover on the same subscription.

Choose Higgsfield if

  • You pay monthly and make 39 or more Seedance clips a month, or more than 76 on any billing.
  • You make a lot of Nano Banana Pro images. They cost half the credits there.
  • You make clips all day and use Kling 3.0 or Nano Banana inside a 7-day “unlimited” window.
  • You use Higgsfield's own apps: Soul, Cinema Studio, Genjutsu, AI Influencer.
  • You want a free tier to poke around in first.

The 8 best Higgsfield alternatives

Same fields for every tool, so you can skim. Prices link to each company's own page.

2. OpenArt

OpenArt calls itself "your all-in-one AI creator studio": 100+ models, consistent characters and a Director tool for longer pieces. It has its own MCP too.

Best for
Characters, stories and a long list of models
Price
Starter $14 monthly or $13 a month billed annually, 4,000 credits. Plus $34 or $27, 12,000 credits. Pro $56 or $44, 24,000 credits. Pricing page

A similar many-models product, with characters and stories as the focus instead of Higgsfield's own apps.
Good
MCP access on every paid plan. Watermark-free output from Starter.
Less good
Credits are a different size again, so compare per clip in the generator. Credits don't carry over to the next month.

Worth a look if consistent characters across a series matter more than price per clip.

3. PixVerse

PixVerse makes its own video models and also hosts others. Every account gets daily credits, and paid plans add a monthly balance and cheaper modes on PixVerse's own models.

Best for
Its own video model and a daily free allowance
Price
Standard $10 monthly or $8 a month billed yearly, 1,200 credits every 30 days plus 60 daily. Pro $30 or $24, 6,000 credits. Pricing page
Models
PixVerse's own models, plus Seedance, MiniMax, Wan, Gemini Omni Flash, Kling O3 and Grok Imagine from Pro up.

vs Higgsfield
Cheaper to start, but Seedance begins at Pro rather than the entry plan.
Good
A real free tier that refills daily. Image models with 365-day “unlimited” on higher plans.

Best for
Editing a full video on a timeline, as a team

Good
Timeline editing and team seats on every plan. Every Seedance model from Plus.
Less good
Starter leaves out standard Seedance 2.0 and 2.5. No free plan, and credits don't roll over.

Pick it if the edit is the job and the clips are ingredients.

5. Arcads

Arcads is built for one thing, in its words: "Create winning ads with AI", with AI actors and avatars delivering your script.

Best for
UGC-style video ads with AI actors
Price
No public pricing page (arcads.ai/pricing returned not found on the day we checked). The homepage says a free trial is available. Homepage
Models
AI actors and avatars for ads. The homepage also ran a Seedance 2.5 offer.
Free option
The homepage says "Free trial available".
vs Higgsfield
Narrower than Higgsfield: ads with actors, not a general generator.
Good
Made for ads, end to end. AI actors without a shoot.
Less good
No public prices to compare. Not a general-purpose generator.

Only if UGC ads are the whole job. Everygen's AI Ad Generator covers product ads on a normal plan.

6. Runway

Runway's tagline is "Create anything, anytime". It has its own Gen-4.5 model, editing tools like Aleph, and hosts outside models including Kling and Seedance.

Best for
Editing and effects around generation
Price
Standard $15 monthly or $12 a month billed annually, 625 credits. Pro $35 or $28, 2,250 credits. Max $95 or $76, 9,500 credits. Pricing page
Models
Gen-4.5, Gen-4 Turbo, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Fast on paid plans, Seedance 2.5 on Pro and Max, Nano Banana Pro.
Free option
Free gives 125 credits, once, which don't expire.
vs Higgsfield
Runway adds editing tools like Aleph; Higgsfield adds its own apps like Cinema Studio and Genjutsu.
Good
Its own model plus outside ones, and Runway MCP on Pro and Max. Max rolls over up to one month of credits.
Less good
Seedance 2.5 needs Pro. Veo isn't on the pricing page.

The pick if you want to edit and composite, not just generate.

7. Kling

Kling AI is Kuaishou's own app, so new Kling versions such as Kling 4.0 and native 4K land there first.

Best for
Kling and nothing else, straight from the maker
Price
Standard $6.99 for the first month, then $8.80 a month (list price $10), 660 credits. Pro $25.99, then $32.56 a month, 3,000 credits. Bigger plans up to 57,000 credits. The page was mid-promotion. Pricing page
Models
Kling only: Kling 4.0, 3.0 and 3.0 Omni, motion control.

vs Higgsfield
Higgsfield resells Kling among others; Kling's own app has only Kling, but has it first.
Good
First access to new Kling models. Lower price per credit on bigger plans.
Less good
One model family. Prices on the page were mid-promotion, so check at checkout.

If Kling is all you use, go to the source.

8. Krea

Krea calls itself "AI creative tools for everyone": image and video models on one canvas, paid in compute units.

Best for
A free daily allowance and Seedance on a cheap plan
Price
Basic $9 monthly or $5 a month billed annually, 5,000 units. Pro $35 or $21, 20,000 units. Max $105 or $63, 60,000 units. Pricing page
Models
Seedance 2.0, Fast and Mini on Basic, Seedance 2.5 from Pro, Veo 3.1 and Kling models with generation counts per plan.
Free option
Free gives 100 units a day, refilled daily. Seedance needs a paid plan.
vs Higgsfield
Krea's cheapest plan includes standard Seedance 2.0, which Higgsfield Starter doesn't.
Good
Cheapest annual entry in this list. Free daily units to try it.
Less good
Units are their own currency again. Seedance 2.5 needs Pro.

The honest pick if free matters most, and a fair one for cheap Seedance.

Is there a free Higgsfield alternative?

A few, with limits. None of them is free forever at volume, because every clip costs someone a GPU.

  • Higgsfield's own free tier: a small set of models and no credits.
  • OpenArt: No free plan, but the compare table lists 40 one-time trial credits for 7 days.
  • PixVerse: Basic is free: 60 credits to start, then 30 a day, up to 540p.
  • Arcads: The homepage says "Free trial available".
  • Runway: Free gives 125 credits, once, which don't expire.
  • Kling: A free Basic plan; see Kling's page for what it includes today.
  • Krea: Free gives 100 units a day, refilled daily. Seedance needs a paid plan.
  • ComfyUI: open source (GPL-3.0). It runs open video models such as Wan and LTX-Video on your own GPU, so the software costs nothing and the hardware is your problem.

On Everygen, the cheapest way in is Starter, $9 a month billed annually ($24 monthly) with every Seedance model.

Who should stay on Higgsfield

  • You live in the 7-day “unlimited” windows for Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana on the website.
  • You use Cinema Studio presets or Higgsfield's own apps (Soul, Genjutsu, AI Influencer) every day.
  • You're a team that wants 30-day “unlimited” Seedance 2.5 on a business plan.
  • You pay monthly and make 39 or more Seedance clips a month: Plus at $59 covers 53.

What would change this recommendation

  • Higgsfield letting “unlimited” work over MCP. That removes the assistant argument.
  • Higgsfield adding standard Seedance 2.0 to Starter.
  • Higgsfield rolling unused credits over.

How we compared

We looked at the things that decide the bill: live price, credits, what one same-model clip costs, which models each plan includes, credit rules, “unlimited” terms, refunds and whether it works from an AI assistant. Every competitor fact comes from that company's own pricing or help page, read on October 23, 2026. Higgsfield's pricing page only renders in a browser, so we read it in one, logged out, with screenshots kept.

The one test we ran ourselves is the same-prompt test above: three prompts, Seedance 2 at 5 seconds and 720p, once on Higgsfield (a paid Plus account) and once on Everygen (a staff account). We recorded the credits each site charged. We don't score quality. The clips are there for you to judge.

Try the same models on Everygen

Every Seedance model on every plan, plus Kling and Nano Banana. Starter is $9 a month billed annually.

Higgsfield alternatives questions

For the same models Higgsfield sells (Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana), Everygen: Seedance runs on every plan from Starter up, and up to 38 Seedance 2 clips a month it costs less than Higgsfield however you pay. It also works in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. For other jobs: OpenArt for characters and stories, PixVerse for its own model and a daily free allowance, InVideo for timeline editing, Arcads for UGC ads with AI actors, Runway for editing around generation, Kling for Kling straight from the maker, and Krea for a free daily allowance.
Some have a free option: OpenArt (40 trial credits for 7 days), PixVerse (60 credits to start, then 30 a day), Arcads (Free trial), Runway (125 credits, once), Kling (Free Basic plan), Krea (100 units a day). Higgsfield's own free tier has no credits.
Everygen runs Seedance, Kling and Nano Banana too. Make up to 38 Seedance clips a month and Everygen costs less than Higgsfield however you pay. Billed annually it also wins from 54 to 76 clips. Higgsfield is cheaper from 39 clips on monthly billing, and for Nano Banana Pro images.
On higgsfield.ai/pricing (checked October 23, 2026): Starter $19, Plus $59 monthly or $47 a month annually, Ultra $129 or $99, before VAT. Our Higgsfield pricing page breaks it down per video.
No. Higgsfield's pricing page says its "unlimited" models and free generations are not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer, so every generation there uses credits.
Neither rolls over plan credits on individual plans. Top-up credits last 90 days on both. On Everygen they stay usable if you pause or cancel.
Within 7 days of your first purchase if no credits were used, minus a fee of up to 6%. Renewals are non-refundable.
Make up to 38 Seedance clips a month and Everygen costs less than Higgsfield however you pay. Billed annually it also wins from 54 to 76 clips. Standard Seedance 2.0 needs Higgsfield Plus ($47 annual or $59 monthly), and Everygen Starter ($9 or $24) runs every Seedance model. Higgsfield is cheaper for 39 to 53 clips on annual billing, from 39 clips on monthly billing, and past 76 clips.
The tools people compare it with most are Everygen, OpenArt, PixVerse, InVideo, Arcads, Runway, Kling, Krea. Some resell many models like Higgsfield does, some make their own model, and some focus on one job such as ads or editing.
Everygen has an MCP server that works in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so an agent can make Seedance or Kling videos for you. Higgsfield has an MCP too, but its "unlimited" models don't apply there.
