InVideo pricing (October 2026): plans, what an agent video really costs, and how Everygen compares

We gave Everygen Wizard and InVideo's agent the same brief. InVideo's agent used 362.2 of Starter's 400 monthly credits without once asking to spend. Wizard used 172 and asked before it did. Below are both videos, InVideo's plans and per-model prices from its own page, and where InVideo comes out ahead: a team timeline editor, cheaper credits on its bigger plans and a free plan.

Every competitor price links to that company's own page, with the day we read it.

Everygen vs InVideo in short

Both sell an agent that turns a brief into a finished video. The difference is who decides when credits get spent.

  • One Short took 91% of InVideo Starter's month. The agent used 362.2 of 400 credits with no spend prompt, on its default “Always allow” setting. Everygen Wizard made the same brief for 172 credits after asking to approve its plan and its first two clips.
  • InVideo's credits cost less each. That Short works out to $9.06 of InVideo Starter and $7.74 of Everygen Starter. On InVideo's bigger plans a credit is cheaper still.
  • For Seedance 2, Everygen costs less than InVideo for up to 38 clips a month however you pay, and again from 53 to 76. A Seedance 2 clip is 13 credits on Everygen and about 38 on InVideo, by InVideo's own plan card. InVideo is the lower bill for 39 to 52 clips.
  • InVideo Starter has no standard Seedance 2.0 or 2.5. Only 2.0 Fast and Mini, and only the Lite agent. Everygen Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p.
  • InVideo is the bigger editor. A full timeline, multiplayer editing for up to 20 seats, free guest seats from Plus, and stock footage on every plan. Everygen is models plus Wizard, Shorts Studio and captions on one balance.
  • Both work from Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. InVideo's MCP drives its editor; Everygen's MCP server makes images and videos.

Same brief, InVideo's agent and Everygen Wizard

One brief, both agents on their default settings, the credits each one charged.

On October 30, 2026 we typed the same brief into InVideo's agent on a paid Starter account and into Everygen Wizard, and left each on its default spending setting. Here are both finished videos, untouched. Press play and judge them yourself; we don't score quality.

Everygen's are the account balance before and after. Dollar figures for the Short use each Starter plan's annual price per credit.

Credits are not dollars. InVideo Starter's credit costs $0.025 billed annually and Everygen Starter's $0.045, so the Short works out to $9.06 on InVideo and $7.74 on Everygen. The bigger difference is the month: after one Short, InVideo Starter had 37.8 credits left, and a month of Everygen Starter covers one Short like it, Pro two.

The cheapest plan on each site whose month of credits covers your clips. Seedance 2, 5 seconds.

InVideo's own plan cards say Plus covers about 52 Seedance 2 videos and Max about 210; Starter can't run standard Seedance 2 at all. On Everygen a clip is 13 credits at 720p, so Starter covers 15, Pro 38 and Creator 76.

From invideo.io/pricing, October 30, 2026: Seedance 2 is the Plus card's 2,000 credits over its “~52 Seedance 2 videos”, Seedance 2 Fast the Starter card's 400 over “~15”, Nano Banana Pro the Plus card's over “800”, and Seedance 2.5 the compare table's “~56 credits/5s” and “~96 credits/5s”. Everygen's Seedance 2 rows are 720p. Dollars use each plan's annual price per credit ($0.015 and $0.038) and assume you spend every credit.

Plainly: Everygen charges fewer credits for every Seedance model. Once you count what a credit costs, Everygen is cheaper for Seedance 2 and 2.5, most of all 2.5 at 1080p, about the same for Seedance 2 Fast, and InVideo is cheaper for Nano Banana Pro images. InVideo also says “We reserve the right to update credit costs at any time, without prior notice.” so check its generator before you plan a month around these numbers.

Source: invideo.io/pricing, checked October 30, 2026. Per credit uses the annual price. The annual prices are shown as 50% off on Starter and Plus.

Plus and Max have bigger credit sizes on a slider (up to 5,000 and 15,000). Plus adds 10 free guest seats and Max 20, at 190 credits each. Every plan includes the timeline editor, multiplayer editing (up to 5, 10 and 20 seats) and premium stock footage. Business plans are on a separate tab.

What InVideo's Starter plan leaves out

  • Standard Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5. The card marks both “No access” and lists “Access to Seedance 2.0 Fast & 2.0 Mini”.
  • The Pro and Ultra agents. Starter gets “Agent Two Lite only”, the agent our test ran on.
  • “Access to all models and features”. Starter has “selected models and features”.
  • Guest seats and early access to new AI features.

Starter still has a lot: the full timeline, up to 5 editors and 100 premium stock footage items. If you only need Seedance Fast clips, it covers about 15 of them for $20 monthly, where Everygen Starter covers 18 at 720p for $24. Everygen Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p, standard Seedance 2 and 2.5 included.

Is InVideo free?

Yes, with a small allowance. InVideo's help center says: “Yes, you can use invideo AI for free without entering your card details.” The free credits refill every Monday at midnight UTC. InVideo doesn't publish how many there are, and its pricing page shows only the paid plans. We didn't export from a free account, so we can't tell you what a free video comes out with.

A free allowance is worth having to try the editor. For a sense of scale, the one Short in our test used 362.2 credits, nearly all of a paid Starter month.

On Everygen, the cheapest way in is Starter at $9 a month billed annually ($24 monthly) for 200 credits, with every Seedance model up to 720p. The InVideo alternatives page lists tools with a real free allowance.

How InVideo's agent spends credits

In InVideo's own words, then what it meant in our test.

“By default the agent is set to Always allow, meaning it generates directly without asking for permission.”
InVideo help center, How credits are charged when using AI Agents, updated August 7, 2026
“Credits are used for AI work, including agent processing and generating images, video, voice and music.”
InVideo help center, Invideo plans and credits, September 24, 2026

So the agent's replies cost credits as well as the clips: the same article says the charge covers the conversation and the media in it. In our run it wrote a script, asked one question about it, then worked for about 20 minutes on its own: a voiceover, stills, eight clips, four exports of the finished Short, and new clips where it decided its first cut needed fixing. Partway through, InVideo showed a banner that we were low on credits.

You can change this. The button beside InVideo's chat box offers “Ask before generating videos” and “Always ask before generating”. You have to pick one yourself; until you do, the agent spends as it goes.

Everygen Wizard starts the other way round: by default it shows its plan and credit ceiling before it spends anything, and asks you to approve the plan and the first clips. In our run it asked about the first two clips, then queued the rest within the plan we approved. You can switch it to generate without asking.

Why InVideo prices look different everywhere

Search for InVideo's price and you'll find answers that disagree. Most aren't wrong; they are from different months:

  • The pricing page today (the table above): Starter, Plus and Max, from $10 to $250 a seat.
  • A week earlier, when we read the same page on October 23, 2026, Max was $135 monthly for 5,000 credits. Starter and Plus were the same as today.
  • InVideo's own billing help still lists Basic 190, Pro 1,000 and Ultra 3,000 credits a month, plan names the pricing page no longer sells.
  • Older guides, including reviews on Zebracat, MaxAEO and Creatify, quote Plus, Max, Generative and Elite, from about $17 to $1,000 a month. That lineup is gone.
  • Promotions come and go: a sale ran on the page the day we checked, and has since ended.
  • Seats: every price is per seat, so a team of three pays three times the card.

The price at checkout is the one that counts. That's why every number here carries a date and a link.

Which plan should you pick?

Decide what the job is first: an edited video with a team, or clips and Shorts from a brief.

  • Everygen Starter or Pro, for up to 38 Seedance 2 clips a month, or if you want an agent that shows its plan and credit ceiling before it spends anything. Pro is $19 a month billed annually for 500 credits.
  • InVideo Plus, for 39 to 52 Seedance 2 clips a month on one seat, or if your team edits on a shared timeline: $30 a seat billed annually, $60 monthly.
  • InVideo Starter, if you mostly edit your own footage and want Seedance Fast now and then: $20 monthly covers about 15 Fast clips. Switch the agent to “Ask before generating videos” first.
  • Everygen Creator, for 53 to 76 clips: $49 annually or $139 monthly, against InVideo Max at $75 or $250.
  • InVideo Max, past 76 clips a month, or for big teams: up to 20 seats and 20 guest seats, and the lowest price per credit on either site.

How we checked

On October 30, 2026 we read invideo.io/pricing logged out from the US, with the monthly and annual toggles, and kept screenshots. We read InVideo's billing help and help center articles on agent credits, plans and credits, rollover, the free plan and currency. Everygen's numbers come from its own pricing page and the cost table its generator charges from.

For the agent test we paid for InVideo Starter and used our own Everygen account. InVideo's credits are its Usage page before and after the run; it shows no per-item history. Everygen's are the account balance before and after; we made nothing else on that account in that window, but other people on our team use it too. One run each, so a second run could land higher or lower on either side. We didn't change InVideo's permission setting, its extra credits (off) or its export visibility.

Give Wizard your next brief

Wizard shows its plan and credit ceiling before it spends anything, and asks you to approve the plan and the first clips. Everygen Starter is $9 a month billed annually and runs every Seedance model up to 720p.

InVideo pricing questions

InVideo's help center says yes: "Yes, you can use invideo AI for free without entering your card details." The free plan has a small credit allowance that refills every Monday at midnight UTC, and InVideo doesn't publish the number. Its pricing page lists only the paid plans: Starter, Plus and Max.
On invideo.io/pricing (checked October 30, 2026), per seat: Starter $20 monthly or $10 a month billed annually for 400 credits, Plus $60 or $30 for 2,000, and Max $250 or $75 for 8,000.
In our test, one 30-second faceless Short from InVideo's agent on Starter used 362.2 of the plan's 400 monthly credits (91%), with the agent on its default "Always allow" setting. The same brief through Everygen Wizard used 172 credits and asked before spending. One run each, so treat it as one data point.
For Seedance 2, Everygen costs less than InVideo for up to 38 clips a month however you pay, and again from 53 to 76. InVideo is the lower bill for 39 to 52 Seedance 2 clips a month. InVideo's credits cost less each, so it is cheaper for Nano Banana Pro images, but a Seedance 2 clip takes about 38 InVideo credits against 13 on Everygen.
InVideo's Plus card says about 52 Seedance 2 videos on its 2,000 credits, which is about 38 credits a video. Everygen Pro covers 38 Seedance 2 clips at 5 seconds and 720p, and Creator 76.
Only Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini. The Starter card marks Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 as "No access". Everygen Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p.
No, and yes. InVideo's pricing page says "Unused credits don't roll over to the next month", and its billing help says credits reset monthly "on annual plans too". Everygen plan credits also refresh each month.
InVideo's help center says: "If your paid plan expires and switches to the free plan, any remaining credits from your paid plan are not carried over."
InVideo has an "Extra credits" setting that, in its words, lets you "keep creating on invideo AI after you reach your plan's monthly limit", paid on top of the plan. It was off on our account, and InVideo's Usage page asked us to turn it on when the agent had used 91% of the month. Check You > Usage > Extra credits if you didn't expect a charge.
InVideo's help center says: "All prices listed on our website are in USD and remain the same regardless of your country." Your card is charged in your own currency at your bank's exchange rate. Everygen's prices are in US dollars too.
Yes. InVideo MCP puts its timeline editor behind a remote MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients. Everygen has an MCP server too, for making images and videos from the same assistants.
InVideo has changed its plans more than once this year, and its own billing help still lists older plans (Basic 190, Pro 1,000 and Ultra 3,000 credits a month). Many guides still quote Plus, Max, Generative and Elite at older prices. The price at checkout is the one that counts.
Everygen runs Seedance on every plan: Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p, Pro up to 1080p and Creator up to 4K. For Seedance 2, Everygen costs less than InVideo for up to 38 clips a month however you pay, and again from 53 to 76. Our InVideo alternatives page compares it with Higgsfield, OpenArt, Runway, Arcads, PixVerse, Krea and Kling.
