PixVerse alternatives in 2026: Everygen and 6 others, compared on real prices

Everygen is the closest PixVerse alternative for Seedance and for viral effects you keep the rights to. Make up to 15 Seedance clips a month and Everygen costs less than PixVerse however you pay. Billed annually it costs less up to 38 clips, and again from 67 to 76. Its 197 viral presets turn a photo into a clip, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1), where PixVerse's Terms keep templates non-commercial. If you want something else, the list below says who is good at what. And if you live on PixVerse's daily credits or its own V6 model, you may be better off staying put.

Every competitor price links to that company's own page, with the day we read it.

What PixVerse costs, and what Everygen costs for the clips you need

Checked on app.pixverse.ai/subscribe on October 30, 2026, signed in.

PixVerse sells Standard at $10 monthly or $8 a month billed yearly (1,200 credits every 30 days, no Seedance), Pro at $30 or $24 (6,000), Premium at $60 or $48 (15,000) and Ultra at $199 or $149 (25,000). Every paid plan adds 60 credits a day. Everygen sells Starter at $9 annually or $24 monthly, Pro at $19 or $49 and Creator at $49 or $139. Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p, Pro up to 1080p and Creator up to 4K.

A 5-second 720p Seedance 2 clip cost 225 credits on PixVerse Pro in our test and 13 on Everygen. Up to 15 clips a month, that is $24 on Everygen against $30 on PixVerse, billed monthly ($9 against $24 annually). Once you fill a Pro plan, a clip works out to $0.49 on Everygen and $0.90 on PixVerse.

Effects go the other way. Our effect on a photo cost 45 PixVerse credits and 11 Everygen credits, but PixVerse's credits are cheaper: $0.18 an effect on a full PixVerse Pro plan against $0.42 on Everygen Pro. The full tables for both are on our PixVerse pricing page.

Why people look for a PixVerse alternative

In PixVerse's own words, from its Terms and model pages, and in its users' words, from Trustpilot.

PixVerse has a 2.2 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 129 reviews (checked October 29, 2026), and 64% of them give it one star. The reasons come back to a few things.

Free went from 60 credits a day to 30

“They changed 60 daily credits to 30 and it is so not worth it.”
Muffin Starlin, 1-star review on Trustpilot, August 10, 2026.

At the prices our Pro account was shown, a 5-second V6 clip at 540p with sound is 38 credits, so 30 a day doesn't cover one.

Seedance needs Pro

“PixVerse announced that Seedance 2.0 is live on PixVerse and available to Pro, Premium, and Ultra members.”
PixVerse's Seedance 2.0 page

Standard ($8 or $10) has no Seedance, and on Pro a Seedance 2 clip is 225 credits. Everygen Starter runs every Seedance model up to 720p at 13 credits a clip.

Commercial use covers PixVerse's own models only

“Please note, Commercial use is allowed only for paid PixVerse services”
PixVerse Terms of Service, 4.1, pixverse.ai/en/terms-of-service

The clause goes on to limit it to content from models PixVerse developed; anything from a third-party model, Seedance included, is “governed by the third-party platform’s rules”. Free output is non-commercial altogether.

Effects are for in-app use

“Platform Creative Materials are made available for non-commercial, in-Platform creative use only.”
PixVerse Terms of Service, 4.2, pixverse.ai/en/terms-of-service

The Terms count templates among those “Platform Creative Materials”, on every plan. So an effect clip from PixVerse is for posting for fun, not for an ad. On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1), viral presets included.

The app and the website charge differently

“if you use the app the prices in credits per video are substantially higher.”
Paw Wilson, 2-star review on Trustpilot, August 12, 2026.

The prices on this page are the website's Create button, on October 30, 2026. We untangle the rest on the PixVerse pricing page.

The same three prompts on both

We typed the same 3 prompts into PixVerse on October 30, 2026, on a paid Pro account: Seedance 2.0 Standard, 5 seconds, 720p, 16:9, audio on. PixVerse's Create button showed 225 credits a clip, and the balance dropped by exactly that for each one. Seedance needs PixVerse Pro or higher, $24 a month billed annually. Everygen's clips are from our run of the same prompts at the same settings on October 23, 2026, at 13 credits each, on every plan, from Starter at $9 a month billed annually. Here is every pair, untouched. Press play with the sound up and judge for yourself.

The same photo, one effect on each

One photo, one effect on each site, on October 30, 2026. We made the photo in Everygen's Image Generator (Nano Banana 2, 9:16) and uploaded the same file to both. On PixVerse we searched its templates for “inflate”, “inflatable” and “balloon” and picked the closest one, Balloon Parade, at 720p and 5 seconds, on a Pro account. On Everygen we used the Inflatable Character Balloon preset, which makes 8-second clips and runs on every plan. Each site's button showed the price before we pressed it, and the balance dropped by exactly that.

Under each clip is what it took to make. What you may do with it differs too: PixVerse's Terms keep its templates to non-commercial, in-app use on every plan, and on Everygen you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1), preset clips included.

Choose Everygen if

  • You make up to 15 Seedance clips a month, or up to 38 on annual billing.
  • You want Seedance on the smallest budget: $9 a month for every Seedance model up to 720p, where PixVerse needs Pro.
  • You use Seedance 2.5: 20 credits against 375.
  • You want the rights to what you make, effects included. On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1).
  • You create from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
  • You also want Wizard, Shorts Studio, captions and voiceover on the same subscription.

Choose PixVerse if

  • You make effects for fun: $0.18 an effect on a full Pro plan against $0.42, and 60 daily credits on top.
  • You pay monthly and make 16 to 26 or 39 to 66 Seedance clips a month, and won't use them commercially.
  • You want PixVerse's own V6 model.
  • You want a free daily allowance to try things first.

The 7 best PixVerse alternatives

Same fields for every tool, so you can skim. Prices link to each company's own page.

1. Everygen

One subscription for Seedance, Kling, MiniMax, Nano Banana and more, plus 197 viral effect presets that turn a photo into a clip. Wizard, Shorts Studio, captions and voiceover run on the same credits, and it works inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

Price
Starter $9 a month billed annually or $24 monthly, 200 credits. Pro $19 or $49, 500 credits. See plans

Free option
No free plan. The cheapest way in is Starter at $9 a month billed annually.
vs PixVerse

Good
Seedance on the cheapest plan. You keep the rights to what you make, effects included (Terms, section 3.1).
Less good
An effect takes fewer credits than on PixVerse but costs more in dollars.

The closest swap if you came to PixVerse for Seedance or for effects you want to use in ads.

2. Pika

Pika sells its own Pika 2.5 model alongside Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0 and image models, on one credit balance. It has an MCP and a ChatGPT app.

Best for
Seedance 2.5 and Pika's own model on one balance, with no free credits
Price
Starter $10 monthly or $8 a month billed annually, 900 credits. Creator $35 or $28, 3,150 credits. Fancy from $95 or $76, 8,550 credits and up. Its table lists Seedance 2.5 at 122 credits for 5 seconds at 720p. Pricing page

Free option

vs PixVerse
Both start at $10 monthly. Pika runs Seedance 2.5 from Starter, where PixVerse needs Pro, but has no free daily credits.
Good
Every model on every plan, Seedance 2.5 included. No watermark, even on Free.
Less good
No free monthly credits. Commercial license starts at Starter.

Worth a look if you want Seedance 2.5 on a $10 plan and don't need effects.

3. Kling

Kling AI is Kuaishou's own app, so new Kling versions such as Kling 4.0 and native 4K land there first.

Best for
Kling and nothing else, straight from the maker
Price
Standard $6.99 for the first month, then $8.80 a month (list price $10), 660 credits. Pro $25.99, then $32.56 a month, 3,000 credits. Bigger plans up to 57,000 credits. The page was mid-promotion. Pricing page
Models
Kling only: Kling 4.0, 3.0 and 3.0 Omni, motion control.
Free option
A free Basic plan; see Kling's page for what it includes today.
vs PixVerse
Kling's own app has only Kling. PixVerse hosts Kling among others, and adds its own V6 model.
Good
First access to new Kling models. Lower price per credit on bigger plans.
Less good
One model family. Prices on the page were mid-promotion, so check at checkout.

If Kling is all you use, go to the source.

4. OpenArt

OpenArt calls itself "your all-in-one AI creator studio": 100+ models, consistent characters and a Director tool for longer pieces. It has its own MCP too.

Best for
Characters, stories and a long list of models
Price
Starter $14 monthly or $13 a month billed annually, 4,000 credits. Plus $34 or $27, 12,000 credits. Pro $56 or $44, 24,000 credits. Wonder $240 or $175, 106,000 credits. Pricing page OpenArt and Everygen, clip by clip
Models
100+ models, every one of them on Starter, including Seedance 2.5, 2.0 and 2.0 Mini, Kling 4.0 and Nano Banana Pro.
Free option
No free plan, but the compare table lists 40 one-time trial credits for 7 days.
vs PixVerse
A many-models studio like PixVerse, with characters and stories as the focus instead of effect templates.
Good
MCP access on every paid plan. Watermark-free output from Starter.
Less good
Commercial use starts at Plus, per its pricing cards. Credits are a different size again, so compare per clip in the generator. Credits don't carry over to the next month.

Worth a look if consistent characters across a series matter more than price per clip.

5. Higgsfield

Higgsfield sells many outside models, Seedance, Kling and Nano Banana among them, plus its own apps such as Cinema Studio, Soul and Genjutsu. It has an MCP too.

Best for
Its own apps and 7-day “unlimited” windows on a few models
Price
Starter $19 on either billing, 270 credits. Plus $59 monthly or $47 a month billed annually, 1,200 credits. Ultra $129 or $99, 3,000 credits. Before VAT. Pricing page Higgsfield and Everygen, clip by clip

Both have effects and apps of their own. Higgsfield's standard Seedance 2.0 starts at Plus; PixVerse's at Pro.
Good
A big catalog and its own apps. 7-day “unlimited” windows on a few models on Plus and up.
Less good
Standard Seedance 2.0 needs Plus. “Unlimited” works on the website only, not over MCP.

The many-models pick if you also want its own apps.

6. Runway

Runway's tagline is "Create anything, anytime". It has its own Gen-4.5 model, editing tools like Aleph, and hosts outside models including Kling and Seedance.

Best for
Editing and effects around generation
Price
Standard $15 monthly or $12 a month billed annually, 625 credits. Pro $35 or $28, 2,250 credits. Max $95 or $76, 9,500 credits. Pricing page
Models
Gen-4.5, Gen-4 Turbo, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 Fast on paid plans, Seedance 2.5 on Pro and Max, Nano Banana Pro.
Free option
Free gives 125 credits, once, which don't expire.
vs PixVerse
Runway adds editing tools like Aleph; PixVerse adds effect templates and a daily allowance.
Good
Its own model plus outside ones, and Runway MCP on Pro and Max. Max rolls over up to one month of credits.
Less good
Seedance 2.5 needs Pro.

The pick if you want to edit and composite, not just generate.

7. Krea

Krea calls itself "AI creative tools for everyone": image and video models on one canvas, paid in compute units.

Best for
A free daily allowance and Seedance on a cheap plan
Price
Basic $9 monthly or $5 a month billed annually, 5,000 units. Pro $35 or $21, 20,000 units. Max $105 or $63, 60,000 units. Pricing page
Models
Seedance 2.0, Fast and Mini on Basic, Seedance 2.5 from Pro, and Kling models with generation counts per plan.
Free option
Free gives 100 units a day, refilled daily. Seedance needs a paid plan.
vs PixVerse
Krea's cheapest plan includes standard Seedance 2.0, which PixVerse Standard doesn't. Both refill free credits daily.
Good
Cheapest annual entry in this list. Free daily units to try it.
Less good
Units are their own currency again. Seedance 2.5 needs Pro.

The honest pick if free matters most, and a fair one for cheap Seedance.

Is there a free PixVerse alternative?

A few, with limits. None of them is free at volume, because every clip costs someone a GPU.

  • PixVerse's own Basic plan: 60 credits to start, then 30 a day, up to 540p, per AM&PM's read of the subscribe page. Output is non-commercial.
  • Pika: The Free plan has no monthly credits (“0 credits / month · packs only”) and no commercial license.
  • Kling: A free Basic plan; see Kling's page for what it includes today.
  • OpenArt: No free plan, but the compare table lists 40 one-time trial credits for 7 days.
  • Higgsfield: A free tier with a small set of models and no credits.
  • Runway: Free gives 125 credits, once, which don't expire.
  • Krea: Free gives 100 units a day, refilled daily. Seedance needs a paid plan.
  • ComfyUI: open source (GPL-3.0). It runs open video models such as Wan and LTX-Video on your own GPU, so the software costs nothing and the hardware is your problem.

On Everygen, the cheapest way in is Starter, $9 a month billed annually ($24 monthly): 15 Seedance 2 clips or 18 effects, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1).

Is PixVerse safe?

What PixVerse's own Terms and Privacy Policy say, and what its reviews say.

  • Who runs it. AIVORA PTE. LTD., a Singapore company, under published Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy. The service is for people 16 and over.
  • What it may do with your uploads. The Terms and Privacy Policy grant PixVerse “a free, worldwide, perpetual and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such Information Content solely in an aggregated and anonymized manner for the purpose of improving and providing the Services, including model training and optimization, unless you choose to opt out where such option is made available”.
  • Faces. When you upload a photo with a face, the Privacy Policy says the facial data “is not stored or shared with third parties, and is permanently deleted once processing is complete”.
  • What you may do with the output. Commercial use only on paid plans, only for PixVerse's own models, and never for templates, as quoted above.
  • Reviews. 2.2 on Trustpilot from 129 reviews, 64% one-star. PixVerse replied to 97% of the negative ones.
“The cancellation of subscription is not straight forward and hints at a shaddy practice.”
Sylvain Marchand, 1-star review on Trustpilot, July 17, 2026.
“I just love the software.”
Wonder, 5-star review on Trustpilot, September 14, 2026.

So: a real company with real policies, a training licence worth reading before you upload anything private, and reviews that are mostly unhappy. Pay on pixverse.ai or app.pixverse.ai, not through a lookalike app or site, and read how to cancel before you subscribe.

Who should stay on PixVerse

  • You make effects to post for fun. They cost less there: $0.18 an effect on a full Pro plan, against $0.42 on Everygen Pro.
  • You open the app every day and use the 60 daily credits on a paid plan, or the free ones on Basic.
  • You want PixVerse's own V6 model, and its Preview and Off-Peak savings on paid plans.
  • You pay monthly and make 16 to 26 or 39 to 66 Seedance clips a month for yourself.

What would change this recommendation

  • PixVerse adding Seedance to Standard.
  • PixVerse extending commercial use to hosted models and templates.
  • PixVerse restoring 60 free credits a day.

How we compared

We looked at what decides the bill and what you may do with the result: live price, credits, what one same-model clip and one effect cost, which plans include Seedance, credit rules and commercial terms. Every competitor fact comes from that company's own page, read on the day given: October 30, 2026 for Pika and OpenArt; October 23, 2026 for Higgsfield and the rest; PixVerse on October 30, 2026. PixVerse's subscribe page blocks automated reads, so we read it signed in, with screenshots kept; the free plan's numbers are AM&PM's, as noted.

The tests we ran ourselves are above: three Seedance prompts at 5 seconds and 720p, and one effect on the same photo, on a paid PixVerse Pro account and our own Everygen account. We recorded the credits each site charged. We don't score quality. The clips are there for you to judge.

Try Seedance and viral effects on Everygen

Starter is $9 a month billed annually, runs every Seedance model up to 720p and 197 viral presets, and you keep the rights to what you make on every plan (Terms, section 3.1).

It has 197 viral presets: add a photo and it makes the clip, for 11 credits in our test. PixVerse's templates cost fewer dollars per effect, but its Terms make templates non-commercial on every plan.
PixVerse's own Basic plan is free (60 credits to start, then 30 a day). Elsewhere: Pika (Free plan, packs only), Kling (Free Basic plan), OpenArt (40 trial credits for 7 days), Higgsfield (Free tier, no credits), Runway (125 credits, once), Krea (100 units a day). ComfyUI is free software if you have your own GPU.
They are built differently now. Pika's pricing page sells Pika 2.5, Seedance 2.5 and other models on one balance from $10 a month, with Seedance 2.5 on every plan, but its Free plan has no monthly credits. PixVerse gives free daily credits, has effect templates and its own V6 model, and starts Seedance at Pro. Both start at $10 monthly.
Kling's own app runs only Kling models, and new Kling versions land there first. PixVerse hosts Kling alongside Seedance, MiniMax and its own V6, with effect templates and daily credits. Pick Kling if Kling is all you use.
Both have effects of their own: PixVerse its templates, Higgsfield apps such as Genjutsu. PixVerse is cheaper to start ($8 a month billed yearly). If the clip is for an ad, check the terms: PixVerse's templates are non-commercial on every plan. On every Everygen plan you keep the rights to what you make (Terms, section 3.1), viral presets included.
OpenArt runs every one of its 100+ models on Starter, Seedance included, but commercial use starts at Plus. PixVerse starts Seedance at Pro, has a free daily allowance and limits commercial use to its own models. Our OpenArt and PixVerse pricing pages compare both with Everygen clip by clip.
