Where to send a request

Send requests by email, or by post if you need to serve paper.

This address is for government and law enforcement requests only. Users with an account question should contact support.

What to include

• The legal process you are relying on, such as a subpoena, court order or search warrant, signed by the issuing authority.
• Your agency, your name and title, and an official email address and phone number we can verify.
• The account email address or share link the request is about.
• The specific information you are asking for, and the date range.
• The deadline for a response, and whether there is a court order prohibiting us from notifying the user.

Preservation requests

If you are seeking legal process, you can ask us to preserve an account's records first. Send the account email address and your case number. We place the account on hold, which stops it from being deleted while the hold is in place.

Emergencies

If a request involves an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, put "Emergency" in the subject line and describe the emergency.
